Every Meal Has a Story

Here's Ours

Our Story

Spice Village isn’t just a restaurant, it’s a living story of passion, perseverance, and the power of heritage.

The journey began in the early 2000s, when two brothers, Nasir and Suleman, migrated to London with dreams bigger than borders. Inspired by the comforting, aromatic dishes lovingly prepared by their mother, they envisioned a space where the richness of South Asian cuisine and culture could be experienced and celebrated.

In 2004, that dream became reality with the opening of a humble 15-seater takeaway in Tooting, South London. With Suleman in the kitchen, drawing from both tradition and personal grit, and Nasir managing operations, Spice Village was born, a tribute to home, heart, and hospitality.
